PRESS RELEASE of the Moldovan Banks Association

05 December 2018

Between 3-5 December 2018, the Moldovan Banks Association, in partnership with the Luxembourg House of Training, organized the training seminar with the topic „Retail banking, New Distribution Channels and E-Banking”.

During the seminar, 26 mid-level managers from licensed banks were trained to work on decision-making and retail banking strategies.

Throughout the seminar, participants were able to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the current banking strategy, analyze the local environment, maturity of transformation, potential, channels and distribution tools, and build local scenarios, aspects that define the roadmap, the planning and the building blocks needed for the strategic evolution of a bank.

The transfer of theoretical knowledge was complemented by a brain storming and adapted exercises, in which the participants built real scenarios in relation to the real situation within the bank.

The knowledge gained in the seminar responded to the expectations of the participants, who were able to learn more international retail banking and E-Banking practices, which hopefully will help them come up with new ideas and directions for developing these segments of the financial services market.
