Between November 27 and 30, 2018, the Moldovan Banks Association, in partnership with the Luxembourg House of Training, organized the training seminar on „Cyber and Information Security Management”, which aimed at forming a general vision on IT security, the problems and risks associated with cyber security. The seminar was moderated by a European expert with over 20 years of experience in the field of cyber security, having numerous certifications in the field.
The seminar was dedicated to IT specialists, security, risk and compliance management, attended by 25 employees from the banks and the National Bank of Moldova.
Considering the importance of cybernetic and informational security in the conditions of a rapid development of information technologies and the virtual environment, the Moldovan Banks Association in collaboration with the Luxembourg House of Training organized a briefing at the end of the seminar on November 30, which was to sensitize the banks decision-makers about security threats, awareness of the purpose and role of Cyber Security, and the need to make investments in the given field that would be cost-effective and value the institution.
The briefing brought together representatives of the licensed banks, the National Bank of Moldova, the Cyber Inquiry Response Center of I.P. „Information Technology and Cyber Security Service” and the Moldovan Banks Association.
