Deposits Guarantee Fund in the Banking System

The Deposits Guarantee Fund in the Banking System started its activity on July 1, 2004 on the basis on the Law of the Republic of Moldova No. 575-XV from December 26, 2003 on “Securing the Deposits of Physical Persons within the Banking System”. Based on the Law provisions, the Moldovan Banks Association appoint one person from the Banking Community in the structure of the Fund Administrative Council.
